How To Play The Mini Baccarat Game
Baccarat is a card-comparing game. The objective is simple: to guess which of two hands - the player’s or the banker’s - gets the closest to 9. Six standard decks of cards are used. No hand can be worth more than 9: aces count as 1, 10s and face cards count as 0 and all other cards (1-9) count as their face value.
Both hands receive two cards. A ‘natural’ is a hand worth 8 or 9. Once the first cards have been dealt, if one hand is a natural and the other isn’t, the natural wins. If neither one is a natural, the player’s hand is dealt with first.
The player’s hand draws a third card on 0-5 or stands on 6-7. Then it’s the banker’s turn. If the player stands, the banker draws a third card on 0-5 or stands on 6-7. If the player stands, the banker draws a third card or stands, depending on the banker’s hand and what the player’s third card was.
Once both hands have been dealt with, whichever is the closest to 9 wins. Each game can have one of three outcomes: player win, banker win or tie.
When the game loads, you’ll see some gaming chips in the bottom right-hand section of the screen. Drag any combination of these onto the betting areas; there’s one for the player bet, one for the banker bet and one for the tie bet. For each bet, you can place chips worth 1.00 up to 100.00.
The player bet has an RTP of 98.76%, whereas for the banker bet it’s higher at 98.94%. Both of these are very respectable RTPs for a game to have. The tie bet’s RTP, however, is significantly lower at 85.56%.
