10s Or Better Game Overview
10s Or Better is an online video poker game created by 1x2Gaming. It’s easy enough to play, yet it does involve some decision-making, as for each card you receive, you have to decide whether to keep it or get it replaced with a new one. If you’re after a casino game that gets you thinking, check out 10s Or Better - give our review a read to learn more first.
How To Play The 10s Or Better Game
To play 10s Or Better, choose a coin value (several values going from 0.1 to 25) and a bet level (1-5). These are multiplied together to get your total bet. The lowest bet you can place is 0.1 while the highest is 125. The game has a ‘MAXBET’ button that you can click on to set the bet size at its highest possible value.
When you’ve got your bet sorted, click ‘DEAL’ to have five cards drawn. Your objective is to form the best five-card poker hand possible. For each card, you can decide whether to keep it or replace it. Once you’ve decided for each card, all swaps are made at once and your final hand is revealed. It needs to be a 10s or better, hence the game’s name, for you to win. There are nine different poker hands you can form. From least to most valuable, these are: 10s or better, two pair, 3 of a kind, straight, flush, full house, 4 of a kind, straight flush and royal flush.
10s Or Better Game Features
- 10s Or Better Theme. 10s Or Better is designed to look like a standard video poker game. The gaming interface takes up most of the screen and the background is a grassy sort of green. There’s not much in the way of theming, so the game looks similar to many other video poker games.
- Audio. 10s Or Better doesn’t have a soundtrack. The game has some basic sound effects that can be heard as you click on the cards and other things.
- Payouts. The game’s paytable takes up most of the top half of the screen. As you can see, the payouts for bet levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 are all multiples of the bet level 1 payouts. For example, if you win with a two pair and a bet level of 1, your payout is two coins; this payout is double to four coins if you have a bet level of 2. The exception to this is the payout for a royal flush (the most valuable poker hand) with a bet level of 5. The payout for this should be 2,000 coins, but it’s actually 4,000 coins - it’s doubled to give you a bonus if you’re lucky enough to form the best poker hand with the top bet level in place.
