What Is the Community Pick Section?

The Community Pick Section is the first thing you see when you look at a game review. It shows the most helpful review for a game, chosen by votes from other players.

If a review gets a lot of 'Helpful' votes, it has a good chance to be in the Community Pick.

This part also shows what a good review looks like. It has information that helps others and is easy to read and understand.

How to Write a Helpful Game Review

Writing a helpful game review is more than sharing personal opinions. It's about clearly conveying your experiences to guide others. Here's how to create an effective review for the Chipy community.

Requirements

• Minimum Length: Your review must be at least 500 characters (about 100 words) to be considered by our Quality Assurance team.
• Platform Note: Reviews can only be posted through the Global site version of Chipy.
• You can only post one review per game.

Steps to Craft Your Review

Step 1: Rate the Game

Start with a rating from 1 to 5 stars, reflecting your enjoyment, the game’s design, and engagement level. Here's a quick guide:

• 5 Stars (Excellent)

Features outstanding graphics and innovative gameplay with rare glitches, offering generous payments and frequent special features to enhance player engagement.

• 4 Stars (Very Good)

Delivers a great gaming experience with minor flaws; reliable payments and special features trigger often, keeping the game interesting.

• 3 Stars (Average)

Provides a decent experience with satisfactory graphics and gameplay, but lacks standout features; special features and payments are moderate.

• 2 Stars (Poor)

Has noticeable issues affecting gameplay, including infrequent special features and less generous payments, needing improvements for a better experience.

• 1 Star (Terrible)

It has severe problems making it nearly unplayable, with very poor design and extremely rare special features or payments.

Step 2: Craft a Catchy Title

Your title should be attention-grabbing and reflect your overall opinion. Use descriptive words to convey your view succinctly.

Step 3: Detail Your Experience

To write a useful review, you need to discuss important features present in the game and describe your opinion about them.

You can very well start with a general impression about the game: how the game feels to play. Is it engaging and fun, or does it become repetitive over time? 

Share specific aspects like gameplay, graphics, sound, payouts, and any unique features. Provide any tips or strategies that could help others.

Summarize your experience and offer constructive feedback or suggestions for improvement.

Step 4: List Pros and Cons

Recap key positives and negatives. You can add at least one Pro or one Con with up to five points each, to give readers a quick overview.

Step 5: Include Screenshots & Submit your Review

Use relevant screenshots to visually support your points, ensuring they match your descriptions.

Checklist Before Submission

• Be specific and provide details about what you liked or didn’t.
• Offer constructive criticism with suggestions for improvement.
• Use clear, simple language accessible to all players.
• Support your points with examples and, if possible, screenshots.
• Be concise and relevant, focusing on the game's pros and cons.

Rewards and Impact

After submitting your review, it will be evaluated by the Quality Assurance Team. Only reviews that meet our criteria for quality and helpfulness will be approved and posted. 

Upon approval, you will be rewarded with 50 XP and 15 coins. Reviews that receive a significant number of 'Helpful' votes have the opportunity to be featured in the Community Pick section, magnifying your impact on the gaming community.
