Elena's articles stem from a deep passion for game design and an innate talent for explaining difficult concepts in layman's terms. She has been writing in the Gaming niche for more than four years as a way to further her understanding of Game Development and Game Art. 

During this time, she wrote tutorials for various game design tools, such as Blender and Unreal Engine, as well as well-documented analyses of the design of popular games for Stylized Station. Moreover, she collaborated on various Gaming pieces for the pop-culture platform, Cultured Vultures. 

Before joining Chipy.com, Elena worked as a freelance writer for several UK-based gambling sites. She used this time to meticulously research the industry and understand the various regulatory differences between markets. 

In recent years, Elena nurtured a gambling habit as a fun hobby and a way to better understand her mind. She has an affinity for slots and bingo, and she likes calling gambling her "pet tiger."

Education

Elena is a BA student of Cognitive Science at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Bucharest. This interdisciplinary program is helping her develop a profound understanding of the mind and consciousness through intensive study of fundamental Psychology concepts, Philosophy, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Science. 

During her studies, Elena focused on Abnormal Psychology topics, such as the mechanisms of addiction and game research and development. Her aim is to further the research concerning games as solutions to various mental disorders.
